My name is Erika Kissick. I am a Physician Assistant graduating in March 2019 from CUNY York College. I am interested in applying your Physician Assistant opening in the Emergency Dept at Brookdale. While a student at CUNY York’s PA Program, I had the opportunity to rotate in Brookdale’s ED– including its Level 1 Trauma Department. As a student, I was impressed by Brookdale’s devotion to patient care acting as the primary treatment facility to the underserved population of Brownville. Providing compassionate patient care has inspired me throughout my journey in health care from my time working as a volunteer at Rush Hospital in Chicago, to a Certified Medical Assistant in Endocrinology in a busy metro-Atlanta area, to my recent position as a Physician Student working in underprivileged communities in the Queens area of New York. As a Physician Assistant with my experience, I know I have the leadership and time management skills
